god if thats not one of the best pices of animation ever made. miazaki (or however you spell it) is such an awsome animator. i like the bland of styles in this. i wanna whatch the movie now...
True...Bebop was pretty dang good.. though I'm afraid Gibli has the leg up on them on scarily realistic portrayal of the way people -move- at any given age and personality <3

ghiblis feel for natural movement is awsome, but the cowboy bebop movie animation flowed very well too. parts of it looked like they were simply motion captured. that, and the camera angles, and just over all look of the movie was out standing. it has to be one of my all time favorites.
I loved the overall attitude of Bebob...it had a life to it that most anime don't manage...so I agree they were very good too...but while the movement was very real...and the charicters incredibly involving...I have a harder time seing them as the movement or actuions of every day people... they still had that -slight- edge of exaduration that they used to draw you in...it worked great too.

yeah. giblis mastered making thier animation feel very normal. there are exadurations, like miazais trait of making thier hair poof out when theyre scared, or angry, and the huge tears, but the over all movements, and gestures are very real. cowboy bebop was cool because of that exaguration. i dont think you can realy compair them, due to the fact that theyre just two different styles. both are spell bindingly awsome though. something to aspire to.
